Welcome

The Orange Recycling Committee (ORC) is a team of volunteers who are passionate about helping our town and the planet. We increase and simplify recycling options for Orange residents, and continually share tips and info (follow us on Facebook).
We facilitated the addition of recycling options at the town's Transfer Station & Recycling Center to include collecting electronics, paint cans, textiles, plastic bags and more. We work in conjunction with the town's Public Works Department, who officially runs the transfer station and handles waste removal. For questions about your specific pick-up, you may contact Public Works at 203-891-4712 or by contact form.
Email us, comment on Facebook, or attend one of our meetings.
